27 Rosiers Fight Grime Deep & Fresh Gel Cleanser is one of our newest favorite products. Sometimes you want a nice, slightly foamy, super fresh, pore-unplugging gel wash that doesn’t strip or dry skin but still gives you a satisfyingly clean feel — and this does all of those things, beautifully, with the perfect texture and allergen-free, gender-neutral, fresh-dew-like scent. It’s even able to remove pollution residues (including PM2.5 particles), making it a perfect product for city dwellers.

Among all the cleansers we carry, Fight Grime is probably most similar to Ursa Major’s best-selling Fantastic Face Wash. Fight Grime is a little more gentle, much more concentrated, and a little more…Parisian. (You’ll see what we mean. There’s just something about the smell and texture of this one that feels particularly chic.)

This superstar’s key ingredients include moringa, a superfruit that helps reduce particle adhesion and remove all traces of pollution; a tiny touch (less than 1%) of AHAs to brighten and clear pores; pentavitin to boost hydration; and the 27 Rosiers core blend of ashwagandha, calendula, chamomile, and aloe vera to soothe and protect.

Fight Grime works well across a number of skin types that span the Oily-Combination-Balanced end of the range, and it shines either as a solo player or as the second step in a double cleanser. We think most of us should have a bottle on hand, whether you use it daily or reserve it for those “ugh, I feel yucky” moments. 

PS Don’t be fooled by the travel-friendly size: 27 Rosiers had it made to provide the same cleansing power you’d find in a 250ml bottle, but reduced the amount of water in the formula because, as they put it, “That just seemed silly.” It reduces the product’s environmental footprint, too. Be sure to wash with a wet face and wet hands, and just 2 pumps of this deliciously-scented gel is plenty, although you may be tempted to use more.
