EVOLVh’s SmartColor Hair Color Protecting Shampoo is one of those products that we weren’t quite sure we needed — their UltraShine Moisture Shampoo is so good, and color safe — until we learned exactly what it does.

Yes, like all EVOLVh products, it’s color safe. Here’s the thing, though: it not only gently cleanses hair, but also helps prevent fading more effectively than any other color safe shampoo we’ve tried. The L-Tyrosine (an amino acid) used across SmartColor products is included in this shampoo, too, along with nourishing ingredients that help prevent splitting and breakage while you wash. And like the beloved UltraShine, it leaves hair looking and feeling beautifully silky and clean. It’s lightly scented with a bright, phthalate-free citrus scent with floral undertones.
