Leave-in moisturizing & frizz-fighting treatment /Â 3.3 ozÂ
Reverie MILK: We knew this product was good when Dara almost couldn’t bear to part with our tester bottle. Its creator, stylist Garrett Markenson, dubbed it “Milk” because, as he puts it, “It’s such an essential product.” We wholeheartedly agree: rich in lightweight natural oils, this emulsion (lotion, in everyday terminology) moisturizes hair, fights frizz and static, shortens blow-drying time, and separates curls and waves — all without stickiness, greasiness, or excess weight. Celebrity hairstylist Sunnie Brook tells us it’s so moisturizing yet residue-free that she actually likes having a little extra left on her hands, because she can use that to moisturize dry hands and elbows.
And it’s no wonder: Garrett had the formula developed by a skincare chemist because he wanted it to be different, more effective, and less goopy than any hair product on the market. In our view, he hit all of those goals in spectacular fashion.
Not only that, but MILK has also helped Garrett achieve his original goal in starting the Reverie product line: to create jobs in California. The product is entirely formulated, produced, and packaged in California (with the exception of the Miron glass used for the bottle, which is made in Germany).Â
Reverie MILK features a subtle, fresh, herbal scent with hints of vanilla, clove, and pepper.
