The Organic Pharmacy Retinol Night Serum is an excellent introduction to retinoids: it’s relatively gentle, it works nicely under any nighttime moisturizer, and it’s a shockingly good value.

Designed to address the first signs of aging – sun damage, fine lines, and skin that needs a little firming boost — this straightforward formula combines 2.5% encapsulated retinol with glycerin and algae to hydrate and soothe, making it a good “my first retinol” choice. The Organic Pharmacy’s Retinol Night Serum is particularly excellent for oily and acne-prone skin, given the witch hazel and grapefruit peel oil in the formula, but it can be topped with any moisturizer, making it suitable for all skin types.
