TWELVE Beauty Essential Bio-Technological Moisturiser is for you if your skin craves thick, healing creams — but not ones that will just sit on top of it. It’s fabulously creamy, but somehow manages to melt right into skin for deep, nourishing moisture that, astonishingly, suits dry and combination skin types alike and forms a perfect base for makeup.

Its secret is a blend of ingredients that perfectly mimics skin’s composition: highly complexion-compatible oils (argan and sunflower), butters (cocoa and cupuaçú), and hyaluronic acid, one of our favorite ingredients for drawing water into the skin. And its blend of botanicals (White Genepi, Imperatoria Leaf, Mallow Flower, and Butterfly Bush Leaf) is packed with antioxidants to protect sensitive skin from the environment. Very lightly scented with traces of essential oils, it’s an excellent treat for dehydrated, reactive, allergy-prone, redness-prone skin that calls out to be babied a bit.

Like the other items in the TWELVE collection, Essential Bio-Technological Moisturiser is free from parabens, sulphates, silicones, petrochemicals and glycols. Formulated and produced in Spain. Recently repackaged in a pump (which we love), with a tiny formula tweak to improve the level of hydration it delivers to skin.
