Gently exfoliating cleansing milk that rinses clean / 3.7 oz
Ursa Major Making Moves Milky Cleanser has a texture that we think is too frequently overlooked in the world of skincare. Cleansing milks are just what so many of us need: lighter and typically less residue-y than a cream, but richer and typically more soothing than a gel, they have the range and versatility to address so many skin types and conditions.
So why aren’t there more of them? We’re not quite sure. The good news, however, is that this one from Ursa Major is so good that it suits just about everyone. Its non-foaming, silky texture is thin enough so that those who shy away from “cream cleanser” territory will feel at ease, yet soothing enough for those with skin that too frequently feels dry after cleansing. And it rinses clean, leaving skin soft, calm, and comfortable.
Among its secrets: mucor miehei extract, a mushroom-derived enzyme that ever-so-gently exfoliates and brightens just a tiny bit with every cleanse (leave it on for up to a minute for an extra hit of exfoliation). Mixed with hydrating plant extracts like aspen, sumac, rhodiola, mulberry, and mallow; lightweight oils like argan and safflower; plant-derived pore-tighteners like birch sap; and renowned soothers like aloe, bisabolol, and allantoin, it’s one of those formulas that covers all the bases.
Very lightly scented with bergamot and ginger, which somehow smells to many testers like they’ve taken a walk through an antique rose garden.
Tip: if you’re looking for a makeup-removing milk, this one will remove light makeup, but we suggest using Making Moves as a treatment cleanser after Dara’s Water if you need to remove more than that.
